My best designing tip
Keep close to nature for your design inspiration. You will not need to try to copy nature’s designs or proportions or functionalities. There just seems to be something special about drawing inspiration directly and indirectly from nature. It will help to keep you and your projects grounded and still inspired.
This photograph of Japanese Iris from my garden was taken May 2012. They bloom in my area for about three weeks. Their structure and symmetry are very inspiring to me. This planting has “Wandering Jew” and “Rose Campion” planted nearby for contrast.
